MADE IN EINDHOVEN
Interaction between buildings and clothings
2023

What if clothing could tell us where they come from?
These garments are designed to show the places where they were made. In an effort to stand apart from fast fashion, this project integrates the location of production into the design and imprint of the clothing.
Using a dyeing technique experimented in the “hibiscus” project, the clothes carry the imprint of the buildings associated with their creation.

Protocol:
A building inspires a garment.
The garment is made from organic fabric.
Then dyed with hibiscus flowers.
The final step involves returning to the building and hanging the garment on it.
Soap is applied to the garment.
This last step allows for imprinting the building's texture onto the garment, creating a unique imprint.
